Thomas Aquinas

I read a little book about Thomas Aquinas last night. Here are some of his quotes to think about:
  • To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible.
  • Love takes up where knowledge leaves off.
  • If the primary aim of a captain were to preserve his ship, he would keep it in port forever.
Very insightful stuff.

Training update: No run today. I'm saving my legs for a long run tomorrow morning.

Aquinas was one of my favorites to read in philosophy class. It often went over my head in terms of meaning, but I remember enjoying it.

My advisor said he received the evaluation you filled out for the internship. THANK YOU! I appreciate it immensely.

His stuff generally goes over my head as well. Just because I post something doesn't mean that I understand it! haha...

No problem on filling out the evaluation. It is a small token of appreciation for all the good ministry that you did this summer.
