1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. It does not demand its own way. It is not irritable, and it keeps no record of being wronged. It does not rejoice about injustice but rejoices whenever the truth wins out. Love never gives up, never loses faith, is always hopeful, and endures through every circumstance.
Paul gives us a list of the attributes of Christian love and of Christ himself. As I read this chapter a few times, I couldn't help but think that this list are the attributes of friendship as well.Reflection
1. In which of these areas are you doing well?
2. In which of these areas can you grow?
3. In the areas you are struggling, how do your struggles adversely effect your friendships?
4. Consider your list of five people. How can you express love to each of these people today?
